Based on current statistics, young workers, ages 16-24, continue to have the highest rates of work related injuries and illnesses; greater than any other age group. Not being knowledgeable of hazards related to a specific job or knowing how to assess and correct a problem can lead to devastating injuries or even death to a worker. No job is worth a young worker’s life.

CareerSafe is making great strides in educating young workers on hazards in the workplace. Together we are actively helping protect more young workers across the United States. CareerSafe has enrolled over 670,000 students across all 50 states and during that same time, there has been an average decrease of 4% annually in workplace injuries among young workers. CareerSafe training programs have been implemented in the curriculum in over 2,500 education institutions.
