Purchasing a Course Online
You’ll need an account to purchase and access courses in the CareerSafe Campus.
If you attempt to purchase CareerSafe products and don’t have a CareerSafe account yet, you’ll be prompted to create an account when you add products to your cart. Learn more about creating an account with CareerSafe.
Which Account Type should I choose?
In the checkout process, you will have the opportunity to select an Account Type. This will help determine what sort of LMS experience you will have, including the availability of group management tools.
Individual — Select this option if you are only purchasing products for your own use.
Team — Select this option if you are purchasing products for a group of people, like employees or students. Accounts with a Team type will have access to group management tools and be able to organize their groups with up to one level of subgroups.
Note: Organization is not an account type available in the checkout process. To set up an organization and have access to advanced group management tools and expanded functionality, please contact Customer Care.
Why do I need to provide my shipping address?
Most OSHA cards are shipped within two business days of course completion.Shipping addresses are required at checkout for sales tax calculations and for mailing any OSHA cards earned.
Note: Sometimes, the addresses in checkout will not be editable. This is because the address displayed has been set by the organization or team for which the product is being purchased. Active shipping addresses are set and managed by administrators in each group’s Settings. Contact your group administrator for questions about these shipping addresses.
Can I use a Purchase Order or save my order to pay later?
In addition to making a payment at the time of purchase, CareerSafe has options for paying with a purchase order and for paying later.
Purchase Order
CareerSafe allows educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and pre-approved businesses to purchase with a purchase order.
To pay with a PO, you will need to have both the PO number and the PO file to upload. If you don’t have the PO file yet, you’ll need to select the Pay Later option and submit the PO to our Customer Care team once it is available.
Pay Later
If you select the Pay Later option at checkout, you’ll be able to make a payment and complete your order via the Order Details page for that order. See the Order History section below for instructions.
Where do I find my purchases and saved orders?
You can view details (including order statuses) for all the orders you’ve placed on your Order History page. If you are part of an organization with multiple people who can place orders, you’ll also be able to see who placed each order.
To access the Order History page:
- Click Orders in the navigation bar at the top of your screen.
- The Orders table provides an at-a-glance overview of your order details.
- To view a specific order, click the order number on the left side of the table to be taken to the Order Details page. The Order Details page displays all the information related to an order.
Where do I complete the purchase on a saved order?
To submit a payment for an open order from the Order Details page:
- Follow the ACH instructions or click Complete Purchase in the Payment Summary Card.
- You’ll be redirected to your saved cart, where you can submit payment and complete your order.

Does CareerSafe offer Education pricing?
CareerSafe offers Education Pricing and some education-only products to educational institutions serving K-12 students.

Eligibility for Education Pricing
Postsecondary and educational institutions not serving K-12 students are not eligible for Education Pricing.

Are some courses provided by CareerSafe partners?
CareerSafe has partnered with UL Solutions, an OSHA-Authorized Online Outreach Provider, to offer OSHA 30-Hour Construction, HAZWOPER, and First Aid courses.
Refunds and Exchanges
How do I obtain a refund?
Please see our Refund Policy page for current policy information and details on contacting Customer Care to initiate a refund.
How do I exchange my course for another variant or language?
You can exchange seats from one course to another within the same library (e.g., OSHA 10-Hour), as long as the seat is empty. If a learner has been enrolled in the seat that you want to exchange, the following conditions apply:
- the enrolled learner has completed less than 50% of the course content;
- the learner enrolled in the seat has not previously had the course reset; and
- the seat is not in a third-party course (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour Construction, HAZWOPER, First Aid).
To exchange seats, you must contact Customer Care.
When do seats in CareerSafe courses expire?
- A seat can expire if no student is enrolled in it before the enrollment period ends (typically 365 days from date of purchase).
- Seats with the earliest Enrollment End Date will automatically be used first when enrolling students.
- Seats assigned to enrolled students will not expire unless the course is part of a license.
